MercedCERA Celebrates a Momentous Milestone – 75th Anniversary

On October 23, 2025, MercedCERA commemorated a momentous milestone by hosting its 75th Anniversary celebration event. Board Trustees, Staff, participating employers and of course its members were present to commemorate the event.
MercedCERA was established on July 11, 1950, and has dedicated itself to ensuring retirement security for those who serve Merced County as employees of the County of Merced, Merced Superior Courts, Merced County Law Library and the Merced Cemetery District. MercedCERA’s mission to provide benefits to its members, manage assets prudently according to plan provisions and provide competent and efficient services to its members continues to be of uttermost importance to Board Trustees seeing the plan grow from $3 million in the late 1950’s to $1.4 billion assets under management.
For 75 years, MercedCERA has honored its promise of retirement security to its members. Together we look forward to the next chapter; continuing a legacy of service for generations to come. Happy 75th Anniversary MercedCERA!
